Hongdae is a major hotspot for Korean club culture. During bulgeum, the Korean slang for “fiery Fridays” (roughly similar to TGIF) and Saturdays, visitors will be able to see clubbers lining the streets hoping to enter one of the many establishments. The best time to visit is after midnight until 2-3am. All the latest hip hop, electronic and house music will be spinning for dancers all through the night.
