About
DMC Gallery is a place where the visitor can experience the future in the shape of the Sangam Digital Media City (DMC), which is due for completion in 2014. DMC is a high-tech information-media industrial complex created on a 569-square kilometer site in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu. Using high-speed optical networks, DMC will specialize in digital media and entertainment industries by housing media and entertainment (M&E) software companies.
DMC Gallery comprises the Information Hall displaying overall information on the DMC, and the DMS Experience Hall, where visitors can experience the facilities that will be installed along the Digital Media Street (DMS). Admission is free but visitors should note that reservations are highly recommended.
Experience a futuristic city that combines information with culture
The highlight of the DMC Gallery is the DMS Experience Hall that boasts state-of-the-art facilities, since DMC specializes in digital media and entertainment industries. The facilities featured include the Info-Booth, which will provide a ubiquitous environment, IP-Intelight and e-Board. The Info-Booth, which is a street facility, features various menu items such as educational content, music videos and movies, and is designed to recognize an RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) card, making it simple for users to pay a charge.
It is amazing to see how things that could once only be dreamed of for the future are now being made possible in reality. The DMS Experience Hall is an exciting science playground for adults and children alike.
